'Joan As Police Woman' is a band project with changing line-ups. The only constant member is Joan Wasser. The first line-up consisted of [a=Joan Wasser] (vocals, strings, piano, wurlitzer, guitar), [a=Ben Perowsky] (drums, percussion), and [a=Rainy Orteca] (bass). Later versions of the band included Parker Kindred, Timo Ellis and Benjamin Lazar Davis among others. Currently (October 2024) she is touring with Will Graefe (git) and Jeremy Gustin (dr).
