LYRICS

The train is so cold tonight
My fingers too numb to write
But I write to spite the cold

And moon, I can see you there

You're still hangin' in there

Though you are so very old

And I'm just thinkin' about a boy

Wearin' wintergreen corduroy

You're wakin' me where I sleep

You're takin' me where I keep

Tellin' myself not to go

What am I s'posed to do

All by myself without you

On a train movin' so slow?

I'm just thinkin' about a boy

Wearin' wintergreen corduroy

On the train again

Movin' away from you

On the train again

Movin' away from you

On the train again

I never wanted to leave

The sun has set in the west

The moon is doin' her best

To light up the sky tonight

I look to the moon for you

Maybe you're lookin' too

It's really a lovely sight

And I'm just thinkin' about a boy

Wearin' my wintergreen corduroy

On the train again

Movin' away from you

On the train again

Movin' away from you

On the train again

I never wanted to leave you

The train is so cold...
