Biography

In Her Own Words is a 5 piece rock band hailing from Los Angeles, California. The band consists of Joey Fleming (vocals) Ian Berg (guitar) Andretti Almalel (guitar) Eric Ruelas (bass) and Omar Sultani (drums). After adopting singer Joey from the underground music scene in the Utica/Syracuse NY area in 2013, the band has since hit the ground running, releasing a few EP's and grinding out DIY tours across the states. In Her Own Words hones in their sound with their debut full-length album titled "Unfamiliar", released October 2016 via InVogue Records. With songs such as "Silver Lights", "Drag Me Down", and most recent single titled "Right Now", In Her Own Words shows off their ever-expanding musical influence, while still maintaining their "X-Factor" that they have worked tirelessly to perfect. Since the release of "Unfamiliar", the band has continued to tour as much as possible, trying to spread to new horizons every chance they get, while having a whole lot of fun along the way. A live performance full of energy, intimacy, and excitement is what you can expect from their show.
