Biography

US indie hip-hop collective based in Oakland, California consisting of Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Casual, Pep Love, Domino, DJ Toure, and all four members of the group Souls of Mischief. Del, A-Plus, Tajai and Opio lived close by in the neighborhood over the hill from Touré’s home ([a=Toure] who attended elementary school with [a=Casual]) and Del officially started the Hieroglyphics crew in the late 1980s. Former members: Jay-Biz, Mike P, Kwam, Mike G and Snupe ([a=Extra Prolific])
