Legendary American country singer and songwriter. One of the most celebrated and influential artists in the country music field. Among the songs he wrote and performed were "Your Cheatin' Heart", "Hey Good Lookin'" and "I Saw The Light". Williams was born September 17, 1923 in Mount Olive, Alabama, USA and died January 1, 1953 in Oak Hill, West Virginia, USA at age 29.
