Biography
Former frontman of chilean band [a=Los Jaivas]. He was the lead singer and guitarist, though he usually played many other instruments. Alquinta died of a cardiac arrest, which he suffered in a beach near to Coquimbo, Chile. Father of [a=Eloy Alquinta], [a=Ankatu Alquinta] and [a=Aurora Alquinta]. Born: January 22nd, 1945. Deceased: January 15th, 2003.
