He played on radio as well as clubs, hotels, and recording. He began in the San Francisco Bay Area as an "ear player" to become one of the best in the area. At the age of nine, he began lessons with Herman Tutner, a very well-known teacher at the time. He played in band and for the choral group in high school. He continued to study at the Chicago Musical College under Rudolph Gans. He began playing in the pit orchestras with bandleaders before joining hotel bands with bandleaders such as Anson Weeks, Phil Harris and Xavier Cugat. Radio followed including the radio program "Masters Of Melody" for its entire 10-year run of salon music and light classics. Next he was the staff pianist for CBS radio in San Francisco. In 1957 he joined Anson Weeks Orchestra at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. He continued his radio gig and playing hotels, including for many years at the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco.

LYRICS

Like lil' baby come on, lil' baby come on
Like lil' shawty what's up?
Rio
Shawty what's up?
Yeah
Like baby come on (Yeah), baby come on
Like shawty what's up? Let's roll up a blunt
I do what I want, I stay by the sun
I stay with the vines, am I right or am I wrong? (Yeah)
Like, let's roll up that doja
Shawty she was off the drugs, she was from Dover
So I told lil' baby, "Call me up when you sober"
I just need to talk it out, I just need some closure (Yeah, yeah)
Got one chance at this life no do-overs

Shawty on me, this gas got me dancin' like Billie Jean
16, made half a mill', I cannot believe
Been where I been, you ain't seen what I seen (I know)
Back in the tropics, exotic, blowin' that breeze
Balenciaga, I got options, fuck 'bout what you say, yeah (Whoa)
Dreamin' bout this lifestyle, I knew I couldn't wait, yeah (Let's go)
Benihana's in Bahamas, eatin' with my gang (Let's go)
Told my mama stay solid, I would never change, no (Oh-oh)
Haven't been broke, you can say it's been a minute (Ay)
Touchdown in LA, yes I travel just for business (Oh no)
Shawty is a thot-thot, yeah, she shake it like it's Christmas (Oh-oh)
At the end of the day, I know it's endless

Like baby come on (Yeah), baby come on
Like shawty what's up? Let's roll up a blunt
I do what I want, I stay by the sun
I stay with the vines, am I right or am I wrong?
Like, let's roll up that doja
Shawty she was off the drugs, she was from Dover
So I told lil' baby, "Call me up when you sober"
I just need to talk it out, I just need some closure
Got one chance at this life no do-overs
