Biography

Philly soul - disco - funk band Formed in 1976, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Fronted by drummer Fat [a=Larry James]. Within a decade they released nine albums at labels as [l=WMOT Records], [l=Fantasy], [l=Virgin] and [l=Omni Records]. Their biggest hits were "Act Like You Know", "Zoom", "Lookin' For Love". [a=Larry James] also played with the [a=The Delfonics] and [a=Blue Magic] and managed the group [a=Slick (2)]. The group folded after the premature death of [a=Larry James] in 1987 at age 38.
