Biography

Enter The Collector was a five piece progressive post-hardcore band from Midlothian, Texas, United States. They said their music "fused the purity of ambiance, with melodic chaos." Started by best friends, they wanted to be influenced as much as possible from various styles of music, as well as inspiring life experiences. Not just to make songs, but challenging themselves to make storylines that used their music’s energy to interpret different moods, conflicts, and overall feeling of the stories they created. The band formed in 2006 after Tarcy joined The February Heartache and they changed their name to Enter The Collector. They released one EP, Cancer, Rebuild in 2007, and broke up later in the year. In late 2011, early 2012 the band planned to reform for a show that never came to fruition, plans to reform later never came. In 2020 the band uploaded their catalog onto streaming services, with a couple bonus tracks. Tarcy passed away in 2022. Members: Tarcy Thomason (Vocals) Cale Kanack (Bass) Ian Jones (Guitar, Backing vocals) Jarod Snowden (Guitar, Backing vocals) Joe Westbrook (Drums) After 2007 the singer Tarcy Thomason, bassist Cale Kanack and drummer Joe Westbrook joined the Dallas-based power pop/pop-punk band Artist Vs. Poet.
