American singer, born 12 September 1924 in Mansfield, Texas, USA, died 16 October 1999 in Bullhead City, Arizona, USA. Sister of [a1238758]. Morse was a popular singer in 1940s-50s. Her hits included "The Black Smith Blues", "Cow Cow Boogie" and "Milkman Keep Those Bottles Quiet." Morse influenced the rock singing style of the 1950's including Elvis Presley, who often credited her for teaching him how to sing.
