Biography

Spanish female pop duo formed by [a4293878] and [a3238025]. [a4293878] and [a3238025] met when they were studying in a high school in Madrid and they started writing together. They were officially released as a pop duo during the first half of 1996 signed with [l=Hispavox]. Their debut album, [m450491], released in September 1996, was a huge success specially in Spain. The album sold over 1.000.000 copies and was certificate as x7 Platinum by Promusicae. In Latin America they were certificate Gold in different countries. Following their success, they released two albums in the following years [m573682] (1998) and [m645031] (2000). In 2001, they decided to officially split after a few years of success releasing their first greatest hits album: [m1337670], which would be their last official release as a duo. On March 31, 2021, they announced their return on social media supporting by [l=Sonogrand Music]. During the years, [a4293878] has tried to re-launch the duo concept with different female singers without achieving the original success: - Rocío Pavón (From 2009 till 2013 as "[a7566964]"). - María del Mar García / Mar (From 2015 till 2017). - Virgina Mos (2018-2019 releasing an album [r13401966] signed with [l=Sonogrand Music]).
