Biography
Alternative rock band from Manchester, England, which started out as the dance band [a26531]. The band comprises twin brothers [a=Jez Williams] (guitar, vocals) and [a=Andy Williams (4)] (drums, vocals), and [a=Jimi Goodwin] (bass, vocals, guitar). Years active: 1998 – 2010 (hiatus), 2018 – present During the band's hiatus, Jimi Goodwin released a solo album, while the Williams brothers regrouped as [a=Black Rivers]. They began life as a Haçienda inspired dance band until their studio burned down and they lost all of their equipment, and then reformed as Doves.
