Angelica Denise Amit Silva (born September 14, 1998) known by her stage name Denise is a Filipino singer and rapper under Underdog Music. She is the leader of the girl group, DAYDREAM. Career Denise started her career as a media personality in 2019 by working as a radio DJ of one of the top radio stations in the Philippines, 99.5 Play FM. At the height of the pandemic, she put radio on hold and explored hosting livestreams on the popular live-streaming app, Kumu. On that app, she showcased her performer side as well by singing, rapping, and dancing on her livestreams, allowing her to be tapped to become the first member of Daydream. Prior to being in the P-Pop scene, Denise has had significant experience in performing, as a former cheerleader and occasional freelance singer for events. She has also had her fair share of experience in acting, being a commercial model since the age of five. Aside from Daydream, Denise also does events hosting, voiceover work, and social media content creation, working with numerous brands in varying fields. As someone who has always enjoyed music, from playing it on the radio to hearing herself singing on the radio, Denise aspires to be more involved in the process of producing original songs, especially since she enjoys writing lyrics. 2021: Debut with DAYDREAM On April 19, 2021, she was introduced as the first member of the girl group DAYDREAM. They debuted on April 30, 2021 with the single "Fallin' 4 U". Personal life Health On May 7, 2022, it was announced that she had tested positive for COVID-19. For safety, the group was unable to participate in the Tugatog photoshoot and livestream on May 6, 2022.
