English producer and electronic musician, famous for being the half of [a=Soft Cell] and in the '90s of [a=The Grid]. He was born on 3 May 1959 in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, UK. Died on 22 October 2025. He was married to [a=Gini Ball] (Virginia Hewes). In 2020 he published his memoir Electronic Boy detailing why he once described himself as "the Backcover Man".
