Biography
Dash Berlin was a Dutch electronic music trio started in 2007 in The Hague by [a=Eelke Kalberg] and [a=Sebastiaan Molijn] (aka [a=Pronti & Kalmani]), [a=Jeffrey Sutorius] (aka [a=Jeff Bounce]) They released the single [Link] in 2006, which was included on many dance compilations, and shortly thereafter recruited [a=Jeffrey Sutorius] as the frontman and DJ of the group. In a press release from June 2018, Sutorius announced that at the end of May he had severed ties with Vanderkleij Agency, Sebastiaan Molijn and Eelke Kalberg over mismanagement and career negligence claims, adding he discovered Molijn and Kalberg together with Vanderkleij Agency registered the trademark "Dash Berlin" under their own names. The following year, in March 2019, Kalberg and Molijn released the first single as Dash Berlin without Sutorius, [Link]. In a joint statement from June 2019, it was announced that Molijn and Kalberg together with Vanderkleij Agency decided to end their part in the Dash Berlin project to focus on new musical projects, with Sutorius becoming the solo artist behind Dash Berlin. At the same time, he regained access to the project's social media accounts. However, on March 29, 2021, Jeffrey Sutorius announced via Dash Berlin's social media profiles that a legal statement issued the preceding week sentenced that the Dash Berlin trademarks must be transferred back to the former partners in the project, and as of March 17 he could not perform under the Dash Berlin name anymore. On April 19, 2022, Dash Berlin's management has announced [a=Ryan Fieret] as the new frontman.
