Biography
A former member of [a=Hood] in the mid-to-late 90s, alongside [a=The Remote Viewer] and [a=Famous Boyfriend] bandmate [a=Andrew Johnson (3)], Tattersall's music can be found these days more often under his alias [a=The Humble Bee]; as a founder member of [a=The Boats]; and in his collaborative works with the likes of [a=Bill Seaman] in [a=The Seaman And The Tattered Sail], Daniel Crossley in [a=Margins (2)] and his series of releases with [a=Thomas Shrubsole]. Tattersall founded and has run the quietly influential [l=Cotton Goods] CDr label since late 2008, designing and hand-making the signature packages of each release. Historically (activities seemingly having been wound-up for the most part) co-ran [l=Moteer] (established 2003) and Moteer sub-label [l=Mobeer] (putting out a series of ten 3" CDR-based releases packed with specially designed beermats between 2008 - 2010) alongside [a=Andrew Johnson (3)]. Also co-runs the ongoing [l=Other Ideas] label with [a=The Boats] bandmate [a=Andrew Hargreaves]. In collaboration with [a=Thomas Shrubsole] set up the [l=Local Studies] imprint in early 2015.
