Los Angeles-based band that were initially active 1986–1995, with reunions in 1997, 2001-2004, and 2010. Core members [a=Johnette Napolitano] (vocals, bass) and [a=Jim Mankey] (guitar) founded [a=Dreamers (40)] in 1982, later becoming [b]L.A. Dreamers[/b], then [a=Dream 6] in 1983, and finally [a=Concrete Blonde] in 1986. Other members have included [a=Harry Rushakoff] (drums), [a=Alan Block (2)] (guitar/bass), [a=Paul Thompson (2)] (drums), and [a=Gabriel Ramirez-Quezada] (drums).
