Biography

Cesare Cremonini is an Italian pop singer. He started playing piano and writing poetry at a young age and was a big fan of Queen. In 1999 he formed a band with his school friends - Lunapop. Their first album, 'Squerez?' was a big success. In 2002, Cremonini pursued a solo career releasing his debut album 'Bagus'. The follow-up album 'Magesse' (2005), recorded in London, was a platinum-selling success in Italy. It contained the hit single 'Ancora un Po'. He toured with a 24-piece orchestra to promote the album. After the live album '1+8+24' (2006), his third studio album was 'Il Primo Bacio Sulla Luna' (2008), featuring the hit single 'Figlio di un Re'. He released 'La Teoria dei Colori' in 2012 and in 2014 had a number one hit album with 'Logico'. This included the singles 'Logico #1' and 'Grey Goose'. The album 'Possibili Scenari' followed in 2017. In 2019 he released a greatest hits collection, 'Cremonini 2C2C The Best Of', along with the accompanying single 'Al Telefono'.
