Biography
American melodic / pop rock duo comprising [a=Lindsey Buckingham] and [a=Stevie Nicks], formed circa 1971 after the dissolution of their previous band [a13129839] commonly known as Fritz of San Francisco, California. Released one album, on September 5, 1973, recorded at [l=Sound City Studios] in Los Angeles. In fall 1974, [a=Fleetwood Mac] drummer [a=Mick Fleetwood] heard a playback of their track "Frozen Love" at Sound City, and was subsequently introduced to Buckingham. Fleetwood asked Buckingham to join [a=Fleetwood Mac], who agreed as long as Nicks was included, with both joining the band on New Year's Eve, 1974.
