Biography
Jamaican vocal duo formed by [a=Bob Andy] ([a713535]) and [a=Marcia Griffiths] who became a member of the I threes backing Bob Marley. The duet reach #5 UK hit single in 1970 with their cover of [a=Nina Simone]'s "Young, Gifted and Black" and a #11 hit in 1971 with "Pied Piper". They discontinued their partnership in the mid-1970s, both feeling that it was not bringing them adequate financial reward.
