Biography
Big Noyd, real name Tajuan Akeom Perry, was born on May 7, 1975, in Queensbridge, New York. He is a rapper best known for his close affiliation with [a=Mobb Deep] and for multiple guest appearances on their albums. His first recorded appearance was on “Stomp 'Em Out” from Mobb Deep’s 1993 debut album Juvenile Hell. He gained wider recognition for his verse on “Give Up the Goods (Just Step)” from The Infamous (1995), which helped launch his solo career. He released his debut solo album Episodes of a Hustla in 1996, followed by Only the Strong (2003), On the Grind (2005), and Illustrious (2008). Big Noyd is of African American and Puerto Rican descent and remains active in the New York underground hip-hop scene. After the death of [a=Prodigy] in 2017, he began supporting [a=Havoc (3)] on [a=Mobb Deep] tours by performing Prodigy's verses during live shows.
