BD1982 is a US-born producer currently based in Tokyo who co-runs the Diskotopia label with A Taut Line. His productions draw on a palette spanning decades of listening, adoration, and experimentation. , new-wave, industrial, and pop – collectively comprising a kind of ritualistic sensibility that sounds simultaneously salient and part of a larger historical canon.
