Biography
During the disbandment of [a3655666], [a1292815] sought to create the next iteration for his Omega Tribe project: 1986 Omega Tribe became that successor. This new version of the group consisted of [a650500] and [a2809337], the existing guitarist and keyboardist, [a5109196], former touring member for [a3027670], and lastly [a3550568] who had impressed Fujita during a impromptu vocal audition. In addition to the group's name and member lineup being changed, many of its composers and writers had departed when [a2809339] left. The group's debut single, 君は1000%, was a smash hit and foreshadowed their massive success both on and off the Oricon charts. Between 1986-1987, they release two albums, seven singles, and one DJ Special. The second phase of the Omega Tribe legacy would eventually, however, undergo another round of changes. Kurokawa, Fujita's declared "bandleader", departed the group due to health reasons during the early production of Down Town Mystery. Around this time, it was decided to change the group's aging name, and debut again as [a3970066]; to further shine more spotlight on Carlos.
